AMITA Corporation is looking for a Human Resources
Generalist to manage the administration of the human
resources policies, procedures and programs.
Reporting directly to the Director, Finance, Administration
& HR, the HR Generalist will carry out responsibilities
in the following functional areas: policies and
procedures, recruiting, employee relations, compensation
and benefits

University Degree or 3-year college diploma.
CHRP (an asset) or working towards obtaining
it.
5+ years of professional human resources
experience with extensive generalist experience.
Strong recruiting background.
Experience managing company benefits and
payroll.
Work in compliance with Employment Standards,
Human Rights and related legislation.
Experience with Health and Safety committees.
Ability to handle highly confidential and
sensitive information.
Strong teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively work and create effective
partnerships with employees at all levels
within the organization.
Ability to adapt to a continually changing
business and work environment and manage multiple
priorities.
Excellent communication skills (verbal
and written).
Strong computer literacy.
Secret security clearance (or ability to
obtain it).
