In
addition to full-time employment opportunities,
AMITA provides project-based opportunities for motivated
subcontractors. AMITA has several standing offers
and supply arrangements (GOC supply arrangements)
with numerous Canadian government departments and
agencies and can thus provide easy access to contract
work and longer-term projects. Subcontractors can
enjoy challenging assignments and an alliance with
a caring organization. Our HR team maintains regular
contact with subcontractors and works cooperatively
to investigate interesting career moves for them.
unique experience
At AMITA we take a real hands-on approach with all
of our subcontractors. We’re not a body-shop
or a job placement agency, in that we don’t
work in extreme volume or are focused on gouging
our margins; you certainly won’t be made to
feel that as soon as you’re contracted out
the relationship for all intensive purposes ends
with us. As a result of our focus on developing
strong relationships many of our subcontractors
have been working with us for years on an array
of interesting projects.
impact
As a subcontractor you will get the opportunity
to experience working with AMITA's large portfolio
of emergency management and public safety organizations.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects
that range from impacting Canada’s transport
safety and agro-terrorism to working on defense
and counter-terrorism measures.
security clearance
Operating in the public safety and emergency management
marketplace many of our subcontractor opportunities
require varying security levels. AMITA facilitates
and tracks the required level and progress of your
security status.
