AMITA is experienced in integrating Canada-specific tools: mapping components integrated with MASAS, Canada’s national geomatics system; data centre environments supporting public safety; and government wide interoperable EOCs which AMITA supports. Incident types encompass natural disasters, crime, health outbreaks and terrorist attack.

Technical support calls can include a range of different problems, diagnosis of application problems, hardware and network problems, backup and recovery problems, virtual management problems and user problems. AMITA has more than 20 years of proven experience in providing application production support services to multi-jurisdictional clients.
AMITA supports departments of Foreign Affairs and International Trade internationally and the AMITA Help Desk runs 7*24 supporting 800 customer sites in more than 180 countries worldwide. We provide optional stand-by services for emergency support when required. AMITA has a mature multi-channel service ability for problem reporting, online, fax, or by phone. Service Level Agreements from AMITA will allow you to tailor the service you need.
AMITA can design, build and run infrastructure platforms such as SharePoint farms. AMITA has the experience to install and support secure environments as well as the solutions residing on them. AMITA provides network support to the Federal Government on LINUX and Windows Server Farms, with security cleared teams. Penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on your infrastructure can be carried out to give you a real world assessment of where you are protected and where your organization may be weak. Application Support and Maintenance, Testing, Change Management and Training
AMITA provides application support to its customers for numerous technology platforms and solutions: Open Source and Open Standard, Oracle, and Microsoft platforms including SharePoint and Dynamics.
AMITA has developed and implemented large scale incident management solutions for Law Enforcement and Intelligence, integrating SharePoint, for twenty-eight European Union nations. Many of these applications require 7*24*365 day response, and an escalation service for heightened support during a public safety related operational crisis. AMITA also provides hosted training environment services which can be used to provide demonstrations of the application as well as training. Services are defined in Service Level Agreements with customers.
AMITA can also supply an entire outsourced application and maintenance team as a managed service. AMITA’s staff are PWGSC security cleared and can work via remote access when needed.

AMITA has made an investment in secure computing facilities and it is maintained in order to keep a state of the art perspective for our customers. Blackberry, iPad’s, WiFi and mobile devices, RFID Platform technology, software, hardware, virtual management tools, are just some of the on-going investments that AMITA has undertaken to remain leading edge. Our customers can walk in and see how their system works on a new generation platform.
Some of our customers have seen the financial value of having their systems developed in the AMITA facility as many government departments cannot yet get access to these devices for development purposes on a large scale. AMITA’s facilities also include a performance testing lab for tuning, optimization and performance research. AMITA”s computing servers and environments are properly managed with backup services and off-site secure storage for better protection.
