project management
AMITA helps companies and their business partners establish an organizational structure and role definition that is needed. This includes a range of services:

methodology
AMITA will implement and customize a proven methodology suited for multi-department or multi-business-partner managed projects, with numerous sub-project goals with different company or organizational cultures, but who have shared goals. AMITA’s Program Management Office Framework approach provides the key elements for the establishment and operation of an integrated program management office. The AMITA Program Management Framework incorporates the Enhancement Management Framework (EMF) issued by Treasury Board and Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and allows the integration of a department or corporate methodology and business practices as required. AMITA organizes projects for customers and assists them with fine-tuning of processes and monitoring and reporting functions critical to any large scale IT project. These processes include risk management, issue management and change management. A work breakdown structure is developed in consultation with project stakeholders. A master milestone chart is developed and is a high value chart for the project executive. AMITA uses these tools to define work packages and they are also aligned with the overall project budget and financial reporting.

project goals and deliverable definitions
Critical to the success of any given project small or large, is proper definition of the project goals and objectives with each deliverable clearly defined for all partnering organizations, project managers, and subsequently project team members. AMITA clarifies the key performance indicators needed for each project and each stage. Our professionals work with the Project Management Team to develop processes and methods to deliver on each goal. Our Senior Consultants work with facilitation sessions and Project Charters to define goals and sub goals. Each deliverable is then defined and mapped to the overall project plan needed for the Executive Management Team and Team Partners.

Large projects involve numerous project managers, deadlines, dependencies, issues and goals. The Executive Management Team of a major project wants answers to schedules and issues and they want to know the financial impact of any variance.

financial reporting
In any significant sized project financial project budget tracking, financial recording coordination, budget reporting, is essential. AMITA can establish a full project financial tracking process, can implement a tracking toolset, and can establish a methodology for Project Managers for budget reporting. AMITA can provide our customer’s Senior Management with a snapshot of budget used to date, budget remaining against key performance indicators or goals. AMITA can provide the financial control even for projects that involve multi-departments, with different sub-projects.



requirements definition
For a requirements definition AMITA details the scope of the project: the needs of the business community that this project will satisfy and the constraints on an IM/IT project. The analysis results in the production of a Requirements Definition document that defines the high-level project requirements. It defines the project objectives, assumptions, functional and non-functional requirements, and constraints. Its audience is the users and stakeholders for content gathering and approval, and the IM/IT community for implementation.

application architecture
AMITA’s application architecture is focused on the external events that the system must respond to, the results it must achieve and the business processes that it must support. Essential to architecture is providing the capabilities needed for inter-operability which is often critical to emergency management and public safety agencies. AMITA is well versed in:

After deciding what the system needs to do (requirements definition), knowing how the system needs to do it (design) becomes the next steps. Components of the application design that AMITA provides is coding, end-user documentation, test plans, test data, test results, system development documentation and finally and most importantly user acceptance.

application training
AMITA provides full training and user support to our customers. AMITA’s training techniques are fully flexible to a customer’s requirements. AMITA will perform a technical walkthrough of the installation process, operations guide and show the technical staff how to administer the application.

post implementation support and maintenance
AMITA provides a support and maintenance offering for systems and application development that covers resolution of problems, as well as the provision of advice on a range of business integration, training and other matters. AMITA can also provide options for 24 x7 Enhanced Support on an as requested basis to deal with urgent circumstances.

AMITA will provide the client with a single point of contact to:
Receive service requests and prioritize them with the business stakeholder;
Perform diagnostic procedures such as information gathering, troubleshooting and problem reproduction, determine initial diagnosis, and resolve;
Determine the required course of action;
Escalate when required;
Conduct trouble ticket (problem reference number) follow-up;
Submit enhancement requests (i.e. code changes, product enhancements, etc.) to development.
